Independence Day!

First off, Rocky had an appt. with Dr. Morales today. His palate is looking good and he is back on a regular diet! Here's the best news though: 2 1/2 years until his next surgery!!! Yay :) He won't need to have another surgery until he is 4 years old! Until then, we'll need to see Dr. Morales in a year and also meet with the Cleft foundation to get him started with speech therapy and such.

The 4th of July, we spent at home with Kyle's family. We did our own little ones (in between the rain and wind storms...) and than we sat on our back porch and watched the whole valley enjoying the first year of the legal aerials. Now we know for next year, we don't have to buy any of our own or go anywhere, just sit on our back porch! It was awesome to watch. They were literally going off Everywhere.

Rocky LOVED the aerials! As long as he was on someone's lap for the loud, close ones he was good. He did not like our own though. Let's just say ... he's more of an observer than a participator .... As long as he didn't have to hold a sparkler or be too close to any, or be around any loud ground ones, he loved them! :) He did enjoy throwing the 'Snaps' though

Enjoy the memories!!

Thinkin "Brae, you're crazy!"
