Postponement ...

As you all know, Rocky's surgery was supposed to be on Monday the 28th.
He has had a runny nose and a nasty cough the last couple days but I did't really think anything of it. 2 days ago someone said something that reminded me about what the doctor said. If he has any type of sickness within a week or 2 of the surgery we need to call them. So LUCKILY I got ahold of them and figured out he has RSV (not the lucky part...) so we will be postponing his surgery at least 6 weeks. I'm just glad we found out before we got all ready Monday morning and than had to have the doctors tell us they couldn't go through with it. Or worse, have him be put under anesthesia and have a hard time waking up ... *chills*

It's a bummer at the same time though. We were all ready - physically, mentally, I had planned to have work off all week to be with him, Kyle's school worked with him so he could have a couple days off ... so yeah. Kind of a pain. But i'm sure it will work out for the best!

We'll let everyone know as soon as we know the new date. Here are a few pictures of him - Enjoy :)

Tubes

We went to the ENT (ear nose throat) doctor today and we did some fun little tests to check his hearing and Dr. Kelly looked at his ears. Rocky did so good, especially including the fact that he had a fever today :/ After all the tests and checks, we decided it would be best for him to get some tubes. It's a pretty easy procedure, takes about 15 minutes. They will just do it for the first part of his anesthesia on the same day he has his other surgery (Feb. 28). So that will be a fun day! ... He will do great.
